Due the flooding of the club at Christmas we will have to relocate to the Grange Academy. This will be effective from Monday 16 February until at least the end of June.
The sessions will be as normal - Juniors 7:00 pm - 8:00pm and Seniors 8:00pm - 9:30pm Monday,Wednesday and Friday. We would like to thank East Ayrshire Sports Council and Leisure for helping out and finding new accommodation that was suitable and did not disrupt the session times.
see video of area during flooding.
The estimated cost of the refurbishment works at the club is £100K and our main worry now is that we will not be insured for flooding in the future or there will be a large increase in the cost of our insurance. The local MP Cathy Jamieson has been keeping us up to date re information from SEPA because of other cases that that have contacted her requesting information.
This the first time in the 43 years we have been on this site that the flood waters have reached high enough to get into the club. SEPA have said the river was it's highest level in 57 years.
